Pearl Bubble (Physogyra sp)

The MIMF Pearl Bubble has noticeably smaller, rounder bubbles than the closely related MIMF Bubble Coral. These inflated structures pillow outward from a solid, stony skeleton and prefer to be placed in lower flow environments. Known for its hardiness in the home aquarium, this coral comes in a variety of shades of light green to beige. When placed in your reef tank, there should be some distance between neighboring varieties of coral as the Pearl Bubble has elongated sweeper tentacles that can sting nearby species.
