Greenbanded (Tigrigobius multifasciatus)

The Greenbanded Goby is a fascinating little fish that has bright green circular bands along the body contrasting an olive green background. It sports matching red stripes from the snout, through the eye and to the back of the head.

The peaceful Tigrigobius multifasciatus formerly known as Elacatinus multifasciatus, originates from the Western Atlantic. It is a diurnal goby that grows to a maximum length of 2”. It will feed on a variety of prepared frozen and dry foods. Provide an ample supply of hiding spots and introduce to the aquarium before other more aggressive gobies.
