Black Frostbite (Amphiprion ocellaris)

A genetic blend of ORA Black Snowflakes and ORA Mocha Gladiators, the ORA Black Frostbite is the result of selection for three desirable traits; black face and fins, the icy-blue color found in some of our Black Snowflake specimens and buckshot pattern throughout the white flanks. At this time we don’t see many Black Frostbites within the clutches we’re raising. It may be that obtaining the right combination of genes needed to create a Black Frostbite is a rare occurrence, but we’re hopeful we will be able to produce more of these impressive fish through additional selective breeding.
